FAQs

Question

What if I'm unable to make it?

Answer

We understand and will certainly miss your presence on our special day. We ask that you decline the RSVP as soon as you know. The earlier we know, the better!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our color scheme features shades of brown and burnt orange — warm, refined tones that complement each other beautifully. Please, no white (that color is reserved for the bride!). This dress code is not a suggestion — it is mandatory. We want everyone to look cohesive, elegant, and photo-ready for the celebration. For the Ladies: Formal attire is required from head to toe. Think floor-length gowns, elegant midi dresses, or sophisticated jumpsuits in our color palette. Heels or formal dress shoes are encouraged — no casual footwear, please. Accessories and makeup should complement the formal, polished look. For the Gentlemen: Please come in a formal suit or tuxedo in a coordinating shade of brown, tan, or burnt orange. Black suits are acceptable, but your shirt and accessories (tie, bowtie, pocket square, etc.) must follow the color scheme. Dress shirts, ties or bow ties, and polished dress shoes are expected — no sneakers or casual pieces. Jackets are required for both the ceremony and reception.

Question

Can I take photos during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Short answer: No <3 We want you to be able to really enjoy our ceremony, feeling truly present and in the moment with us. We've hired an amazing wedding photographer and videographer who will be capturing this significant moment. We're respectfully asking that everyone put away all cameras and cell phones during the ceremony. You are more than welcome to take photos at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests should arrive no later than 5:00 PM to allow time for parking, finding their seats, and getting settled before the ceremony begins. Ceremony doors will close promptly at 5:30 PM, and no one will be admitted after that time. We’re taking our vows to each other very seriously, and we want this moment to remain sacred, intimate, and free from interruptions as we begin our forever together.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand our decision.

Question

Are there hotel and transportation accommodations?

Answer

Yes, we have reserved a limited blocks of rooms at the Hampton Inn & Suites Fairfield. When booking, mention our wedding for a discount. The cutoff is April 14th, 2026, based on availability. So reserve your room now :) ~ Complimentary shuttles from the Hampton Inn & Suites Fairfield to the venue will be available.

Question

Can I bring my child?

Answer

This is a child-free wedding with the exception of those in the Wedding Party. We recommend using this night as a date night!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! So if you plan on drinking, be sure to book a room at the Hampton Inn & Suites because there will be a free shuttle service to take you back after the reception.
