WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Victoria and Patrick first met at their church retreat. As romcom as it can get, Victoria decided to prank the boys room with her friend, and while searching the room she heard someone coming. She hid until the person left the area. Patrick was in fact the person who was approaching the room. While walking towards his room he heard a noise but disregarded it and walked away. Little did they know, their paths were about to cross and join forever.

After having a great time at this retreat, meeting new people, like her Maid of Honor, Victoria added Patrick on Instagram and it all starts here. Thanksgiving rolls around and Patrick sends DM number one. Early December rolls around and incomes DM number two. From here conversation truly begins. AS FRIENDS. Conversing about dreams and passions, goals and gifts, fears and secrets, the two found comfort in each other. Christmas approaches and they plan their first date. The first date according to Victoria was a night out for dinner and the theatre. The first date according to Patrick was the afternoon before, to Midtown and 5 Guys. Talk about different personalities! Nonetheless, their love only bloomed from there. Every other Wednesday and every Friday, Patrick picked Victoria up from school and explored their beloved city for another adventure. Their first kiss was on the 6 train platform for crying out loud! Finally, one windy Friday on a late afternoon, Victoria and Patrick went out for a pier bench picnic at Gantry Park. While sharing a blanket and enjoying the sunset, they shared their first I Love You's.

From the beginning of their relationship, they always discussed marriage, then later what their dream engagement would look like. Victoria wanted her and Patrick alone together and Patrick wanted to truly surprise her. Knowing Victoria would be able to figure out his plans, there was only one thing to do. Let her plan the engagement without her knowing she's planning the engagement. Genius. Patrick buys the ring while Victoria plans a picnic at Gantry Park. Having a beautiful time, Patrick finally stands up, lifts her with him, bends on one knee, and POPS THE BIG Q! And she said, "yeah, of course" Their life together only continues to flourish from here <3
