Our wedding will take place in Sighnaghi, Georgia, a small hilltop town in the Kakheti region. The main international airport is Tbilisi International Airport (TBS), for most guests arriving via Europe or the Middle East.
From Tbilisi, Sighnaghi is an easy 1.5–2 hour drive. Car rental is simple and driving is simple in Georgia (for Tamer anyway!).
Sighnaghi is compact, walkable and full of charm, with cafés, restaurants and viewpoints close together. It’s easy to enjoy without an itinerary - wandering the old town, stopping for coffee, enjoying long lunches or taking in the views. Kakheti is also Georgia’s wine region, with nearby wineries and countryside for those who want to explore.
