FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests RSVP by May 1, 2026. This helps us finalize our plans and provide an accurate guest count to our venue. If you know you are able to attend sooner, we would truly appreciate early responses.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 7:00 PM, and because our time at the venue is limited, it is very important that guests arrive on time. We kindly ask everyone to plan ahead and be at the venue at 7:00 PM so we can begin our ceremony smoothly.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We do not have any specific hotel recommendations, but we do suggest choosing accommodations that fit your budget and comfort level. Because of travel time between the ceremony and reception (30 minutes), we recommend staying in the downtown Austin area for convenience. Our best suggestion is reaching out to Jessica Heyward, travel consultant with JetSetGone, for assistance with your travel arrangements.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests not bring surprise dates. If a plus-one was included in your original invitation, it will be reflected in your RSVP. If you would like to request a plus one that was not originally included, please reach out to us before the RSVP deadline. Due to limited space, we may not be able to accommodate all requests, but we will do our best.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes. We love our nieces and nephews and are happy to have children celebrate with us.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is free parking available at the ceremony. For the dinner reception, guests may use valet parking for $13 or park in a nearby paid parking garage.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests attend in semi-formal attire, incorporating tones of olive green, moss green, thyme, and champagne neutrals to complement the style of our celebration. As August evenings in Austin can still be quite warm, we recommend choosing light, breathable fabrics to stay cool and comfortable. Please also note that there is a short walk from the parking area to the chapel, so comfortable shoes are encouraged.
