Our story began in a place rooted in faith. We met at church -he at the piano, filling the room with music, and I lifting my voice in song. From the very beginning, there was harmony between us. What started as a shared love for worship quickly grew into something deeper, and after a year of dating, we knew our hearts we're meant to walk this life together. We married and shared nearly ten years of life side by side. Like many journeys, ours was not without challenges. Eventually, we divorced and went our separate ways and spent eight years apart, both of us growing, learning, and living life on our own. Life has a way of bringing clarity through unexpected moments. In 2025, my world changed when my sister Georgia passed away. In the midst of grief and heartbreak, we found ourselves leaning on one another. He understood my love for my sister; I understood his love for her. and we both knew how deeply she believed in us. Through comforting one another in loss, something beautiful happened- we found our way back to love. This time, it was different. Stronger. Deeper. Wiser. What we rediscovered wasn't just the love we once had, but a better version of it-rooted in grace, forgiveness, faith, and a renewed commitment to one another. Today, we stand together again, happier than ever, loving fully, and living as though we were never apart. Our story is proof that love can be restored, hearts can be healed, and second chances can be even more beautiful than the first. Marriage is great-and this time, it will be greater than ever.
