We're Getting MARRIED!!

We met in Upper Darby, PA, in 2003. I was 16 years old, and Jerome was 18. One night, we both just so happened to be at my neighbor's house. When it was time for me to get home, Jerome claims I "pranced" through the living room. My recollection of events is that I tried to quickly get out of the way of their game, lol. As I made my way across our yards, I heard someone behind me say, "Excuse me!!" When I turned around, his smile took my breath away. It was completely captivating. We dated and started a teenage love story until I moved to NC in 2004. Our lives moved forward, and we started families and had beautiful children. Fourteen long years later, on November 18, 2017, Jerome waved at me on Facebook Messenger. Of course, I gave it the side eye because we have not seen or spoken to each other in years, but I decided to say hi back. That was the best decision EVER!! From that wave, we spoke every day for HOURS. We spoke about EVERYTHING and realized we had sooooo much in common. Jerome stole my heart and mind with every conversation. Three years later, we had Jacoby and added to our beautiful blended family. December 25th, 2024, Jerome, with the help of Alisha (my best friend), surprised me with the most beautiful ring I have ever seen. Of course, I ugly cried and said YES!! We are so excited to begin this next stage in our lives.
