Zac and I met in fall of 2012 after multiple family members and mutual friends insisted, we would be perfect together! Zac had recently come home from the Army after being stationed away from home for multiple years. I was a single mom, going to school full time to finish my Bachelor’s degree, and working. Zac and I were at such different stages in our lives that I truly believe this is what made our relationship work and become so strong!

Zac and I got engaged on December 18, 2018 shortly after our six-year anniversay. We had both been Christmas shopping all day and had just got home to have dinner. Zac and Kayson came into the kitchen and Zac got down on one knee, and Kayson opened the box with the ring! Of course I said YES!
