We're Getting Married!

It all started when Tamara was looking for some new roommates. For months the search seemed endless–house after house with none of them seeming to be a good match. That is, until Tamara and Charlie walked into the Romona House. Tamara was greeted by Sean, who had a sweet smile and a genuinely kind demeanor; Charlie Boi was greeted by Ditka Doggie and the two pups became instant best friends. Tamara moved in the next week, and at first, she spent most days secluded in her room. Sean had started plotting on how to get his new roommate more comfortable in the house. He decided to start a puzzle in the living room, encouraging others to help. Every day after work the two of them (and sometimes Tim) would spend hours putting the puzzle together and getting lost in conversation. They bonded over everything from the mundane of how their day was, music, and food, to more heartfelt conversations about scars from their past, hopes for the future, and of course Da Bears. Every time one puzzle would be just about finished, another would show up in the mail ready to start. The time they spent together had become their favorite part of the day. They didn't know it at the time, but they were falling for each other. One night after placing a puzzle piece, and to be honest, probably a couple drinks, Sean built up the courage to kiss her. Six months later they were looking out at a beautiful Hawaiian sunset thinking about how they couldn't be more in love. Nine months after the breathtaking Hawaiian sky and most importantly, the magical and delicious Mahi Mahi, they welcomed Bradley into their life and that was the start of their little family. Two and a half years later their family became complete with Sierra. On August 17, 2017, Sean and Tamara bought their first home together. Sean had received the keys a day earlier than expected and decorated the house with flowers, pictures, and candles. As they walked into the new house together, Sean got down on one knee and asked Tamara to marry him. They have since devoted their lives to creating a loving and supportive home for their children. Tamara, Sean, Bradley, and Sierra have taken every opportunity to go on adventures together as a family. Vacations to Hawaii, Disneyland days, road trips, hikes in the mountains, swimming at the beach, and spending time at the cabin in the Eastern Sierras. One of their favorite adventures has always been camping at San Clemente State Beach. Many of you know that for years, Tamara and Sean have already considered each other husband and wife. They are so very excited to make it legal in the presence of their loved ones in a place that they love so much.
