Are children welcome?

While we absolutely adore your little ones, our wedding celebration will be an adults-only evening unless specifically invited. We hope this gives everyone the chance to relax, celebrate, and enjoy a special night with us. Thank you for understanding, and for making arrangements in advance.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to the intimate nature of our celebration, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on the invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and cannot wait to celebrate with you.

What is appropriate attire for the wedding?
Answer
For this deeply special evening, we invite our guests to embrace the romance and elegance of black tie attire. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear tuxedos or formal dark evening suits, while ladies are invited to wear full-length gowns befitting a night of celebration, beauty, and timeless sophistication. We cannot wait to gather beneath the glow of the evening, surrounded by the people we love most, all dressed for an unforgettable occasion.

What time should we arrive at The Sheldon for the ceremony?
Answer
We warmly invite guests to join us for a light cocktail hour prior to the ceremony as we begin the evening together. For those attending the pre-ceremony gathering, details will be provided on the schedule. Otherwise, we kindly recommend arriving no later than 20 minutes before the ceremony begins so everyone may be seated and settled before the celebration starts.

How do I get between The Missouri Athletic Club and The Sheldon?
Answer
The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at two separate locations nearby one another. For guests staying at the Missouri Athletic Club, transportation will be provided between the ceremony and reception venues. If you are staying elsewhere, we kindly ask that you arrange your own transportation via Uber, taxi, or personal vehicle. Ample parking is available at both locations.

If we are staying at The Four Seasons Hotel, how do we get to the ceremony and reception?
Answer
Guests staying at the Four Seasons Hotel are encouraged to take an Uber or taxi to the ceremony due to the close proximity of the venue. Following the ceremony, shuttle transportation will be provided to the reception at the Missouri Athletic Club. At the conclusion of the evening, guests will be responsible for arranging their own transportation back to the Four Seasons Hotel.

Is there parking at The Sheldon for the ceremony and at the Missouri Athletic Club for the reception?
Answer
Yes, complimentary parking will be available for guests at both The Sheldon for the ceremony and the Missouri Athletic Club for the reception. Guests staying overnight at the Missouri Athletic Club should note that overnight parking fees will apply. Please also be aware that overnight parking is not permitted at The Sheldon.

Can I take photos or videos at the wedding and reception?
Answer
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony and keep all phones and cameras put away as we honor the sacredness and intimacy of the moment. We want everyone to be fully present with us beneath the chuppah. We will, however, happily welcome photos during the cocktail hours before and after the ceremony, as well as throughout the reception celebration.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both are indoors. Weather shouldn't be an issue.

Will dietary restrictions be accommodated?
Answer
Yes. We will happily accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences. Guests will have the opportunity to note any dietary needs, allergies, or meal preferences on the RSVP card included with the invitation suite.

What should we do between the ceremony and reception?
Answer
Following the ceremony, guests will be welcomed directly to the Missouri Athletic Club for an additional cocktail hour prior to dinner and the evening’s festivities. We invite everyone to relax, enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and continue the celebration together as the evening unfolds.

St. Louis is filled with beautiful neighborhoods, incredible food, historic landmarks, and wonderful cultural attractions for visitors to enjoy throughout the weekend.
