Marques and Tamara met in 2018 at Parker Woods Montessori where Tamara taught for several years. They were introduced through his mother and became instant friends although they lived several miles apart, Marques in Houston, and Tamara in Cincinnati. For years they were close friends until they had to admit to each other, that between them there was more of a vibe than “just friends”. In 2022 the couple officially began dating and it has been uphill from there. Together the two enjoy watching movies, trying new restaurants and traveling, their first trip together being Montego Bay, Jamaica where they celebrated Marques’ 40th birthday. They have two amazing sons, McKinley and Micah which are their pride and joy! They are both ecstatic to unite as one and become husband and wife before their closest family and friends. What God brings together, no man can tear apart!
