He Bent the Knee

We met on match.com in 2015. We talked for a few months, long jonesing conversations before going on our first date January 2016. We dated for a few months and it felt like going to prom night all over again when Jarrod asked me to be his girlfriend and we attended his first fraternity gala that year. Jarrod then met my pride and joy Stella afterwards and she fell for him too. It was always important to me to have a man love my daughter just as much as he loved me. Funny thing is we attended rival high schools, graduated the same year (1999) and knew mutual people but never met. It's funny how life works out sometimes and the timing was just right. We have learned that everything happens in God's timing. After almost 3 and a half years together and many trips and dates Jarrod asked me to marry him on Christmas Day during dinner with my family and some friends. Although I was a pain when it came to us being engaged I knew from the moment we met I had met my match!
