What areas should we consider when looking for lodging?

Answer

We don’t want our guests having to drive for miles and miles to get back to their lodging. The roads are very dark at night. For that reason, we suggest sticking to the following towns: Roxbury Halcottsville Red Kill Valley Margeretville Arkville Fleischmanns Denver If in doubt, reach out to one of us before booking.

How do we get to the wedding venue?

Answer

GPS users coming from NYS Thruway 87: After exiting from the NY Thruway at exit 19 Kingston, 35 Miles down Rte. 28 West, your GPS will tell you to turn right into the town of Fleischmanns. Not a good idea! This will take you on a long and windy mountain road. Instead, keep going straight down Rte. 28 West a couple of miles and your GPS will recalculate the proper way. Can we bring our kids to the wedding?

To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children.

What should we wear?

Answer

Ladies and Gents, dress appropriateley for a cozy dinner party in the mountains. Your fancy footwear should work for different natural terrains and plenty of merriment. To stay warm, think outdoorsy formal wedding attire but with layers.
