Wedding Day (May 9) – Beach Formal Ladies are encouraged to wear long or midi dresses. Please note that much of the venue features grassy areas, so block heels are recommended. If you plan to wear stilettos, heel protectors may be helpful to prevent sinking. Men: Suits are welcome; dress pants with button-down shirts are also appropriate. Tie optional. For the wedding day, we kindly ask that guests avoid flip-flops, beachwear, casual sundresses, shorts, and tank tops. ¿Alguno de los eventos tiene código de vestimenta? ¡Sí! We are working with our wedding planner to have local taxis on standby for guests who would like a ride back to their hotel or Airbnb. Taxis in Sayulita accept cash (pesos or USD), so please come prepared. We’ll share more details, including contact numbers and pickup logistics, as we get closer to the date. Transportation will not be a problem!

While many places in Sayulita accept credit cards, we recommend bringing some cash (USD or pesos) for smaller establishments, beach bars, taxis, and local vendors that may be cash-only. Smaller bills are especially helpful for tips and small purchases. There is an ATM available at the Puerto Vallarta (PVR) airport, as well as ATMs throughout Sayulita. However, during our stay in November, we experienced occasional issues with some ATMs in town not working, and ATM fees can be very high. For this reason, we recommend planning ahead. Currency exchange is also available at the airport if needed.
Sayulita is a super walkable town; with beaches, bars, restaurants, and shops all just minutes away from each other. Strolling through is part of the charm! That said, renting a golf cart is also a fun and easy way to zip around, especially if you're staying a little farther out or just want to cruise. As much as we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding a kid-free celebration. This was a tough decision, but we hope this can be a fun and relaxing night for all of you to let loose, celebrate, and enjoy a little getaway. We totally understand that arranging childcare isn’t always easy, and we’re so grateful for you making the effort to be with us. We don’t recommend drinking the tap water. Most locals and visitors stick to bottled or filtered water for drinking and brushing teeth — just to be safe! We recommend buying water jugs/bottles for the duration of your stay.

While we would love to celebrate with everyone, our celebration is limited to those specifically named on the invitation. If a name does not appear when you RSVP, that guest is not included.
