Nature & Wildlife Safety:
The beaches are stunning but powerful. Sneaker waves can appear suddenly, so please never turn your back on the ocean and keep a safe distance from the water's edge. Our rivers may look calm but can have strong currents and cold water even in summer-so be mindful, especially if you're near the water with kids or pets.
Dress in Layers:
Coastal weather can be unpredictable-foggy mornings, sunny afternoons, and chilly evenings are all possible in one day. We recommend packing cozy layers and comfortable walking shoes.
Cell Service: Cell signal can be spotty, especially in redwood groves and along the coast.
Early Closures:
Local restaurants and shops tend to close earlier than in big cities (around 8-9 PM), so plan ahead for meals and snacks.
The Closest Airport:is California Redwood Coast - Humboldt County Airport (ACV), just 15-20 minutes from Trinidad. It's a tiny airport with one gate.
We recommend carpooling to wedding due to limited Ubers in our area.

Beach Cocktail — Dress to celebrate! Think vibrant colors, long or flowy dresses, dressy jumpsuits, collared shirts, and dress pants. Suits and ties are welcome, but totally optional.
