while we'll be having a private ceremony in west texas, we can't wait to celebrate our wedding with a reception with our friends and family in san antonio on april 27th.
party headquarters will be at hotel havana in downtown san antonio. this will be where our reception will be, as well as our hotel block. see "travel" for more information.
hotel havana allows a small number of guests on site for events. we're looking forward to our wedding being an intimate (and fun!) affair. please only come to the wedding with the people listed on your RSVP. if you would like to bring a guest that is not listed, please ask us to see if we have room before bringing them. while we love your children (they're some of our favorite people!) our wedding will be for adults only. unfortunately, this includes infants as well.
the wedding will be primarily indoors, with (optional) cocktail areas for mingling outside.
we're excited that our wedding will be during fiesta - a festival honoring the culturally rich history of san antonio and its residents. fiesta is known for its vibrant and extensive colors -- thus, we're encouraging wedding guests to dress in "festive" or "creative cocktail." for those of us that don't speak wedding code -- to break it down, this means have fun, play around, and go bold. those wearing a dress - think cocktail attire with bolder colors / patterns and fun accessories. those wearing a suit - it's finally time to break out that patterned or textured suit you've been dying to wear, or maybe a bright tie or pocket square.
unfortunately, there is only a small lot at hotel havana - so, parking is only guaranteed for guests staying at the hotel overnight. fortunately, there is a large city-owned parking garage across the street at: 700 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, 78205. as our celebration is during fiesta, parking will be sparse downtown. we highly recommend utilizing rideshare services such as uber and lyft.
