We first met while working at Enterprise, and at the time, we didn’t think much of it. Initially, we were just co-workers, but as we got to know each other, we discovered how many interests we shared. The more time we spent together, the deeper our connection grew. Then, one day, everything just fell into place, and we realized we were meant to spend forever together.
Every year, my family takes a trip to Miramar Beach in Florida—a place that has become our cherished home away from home. One of our traditions is to have family photos taken, as it’s rare for all of us to be together in one place. But this year was extra special. Nick had secretly coordinated with my entire family (even flying BJ down to surprise us!) and decided this beautiful beach would be the perfect spot to ask me to marry him. During the photo session, my mom shouted for Nick and me to pose together, and before I knew it, he was down on one knee. The rest, as they say, is history!
