Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Tally Gunstone and Curtis Tipton
We hope you are able to take advantage of the beauty found in Trout Lake and Mount Adams while you are here! Explore some of our favorite things to do for a memorable weekend.

Guler Ice Caves and Natural Bridges

Trout Lake, WA 98650

Ancient lava tubes form this 1 mile long cave, which has ice sculptures in the winter and spring. It's still cold and dark in the summer, so bring a headlamp and warm jacket to to explore. Nearby "bridges" made of the lava rock make for a magical hike among colorful vine maples.

Trout Lake Creek & Meadows Trail

Trout Lake, WA 98650

Visit the actual lake of Trout Lake. Beautiful Mt Adams view as well as a short walking trail great for kids.

Sleeping Beauty Hike

Sleeping Beauty Trail, WA

A short but steep hike to the top of a beloved rock form you'll see on your drive into town, look for the rock silhouette of a sleeping woman. Great views of all the Cascade mountains on a clear day!

Langfield Falls Short Hike

Trout Lake, WA 98650

A kid friendly 1/4 mile hike to a beautiful, wide waterfall. Swim in the pool if you can brave the cold!

Takhlakh Lake

WA

A beautiful mountain lake to walk around or canoe on, with a great view of Mt. Adams. Enjoy roadside waterfalls on the drive up through the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Be prepared for a stretch of rough gravel road to get here!
