While this is our wedding venue, you might not get a chance to see all the zoo has to offer during the wedding! This zoo is free and is one of our favourite spots. Say hi to the monkeys for us!
We can actually see the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden from our apartment! It’s home to the iconic spoon and cherry, and is a great free place to walk around, stopping to grab coffee at a nearby coffee shop or check in on the soon to be newlyweds just down the street!
Attached to the free sculpture garden is the Walker Art Museum. While not free, it is a wonderful, warm way to spend some free time, allowing you to see a mix of local and international art.
Loring park is our local park, another that we can see from our home! It’s part of Tallulah’s daily walk to work, and it’s got beautiful gardens, paths, and a big playground for any little ones to blow off some steam.
Our favorite local apple orchard. The best place to grab apple cider donuts, pastries, apple picking, cider, wine and it even had a playground! The vineyard here has Tallulah’s favourite wine ever, a sparkling Vignole.
Our favourite walkable restaurant! Delicious indian food, and it’s close to one of Tallulah’s bus stops! You can smell the curry when waiting for the bus.
Brit’s is a British inspired pub in downtown Minneapolis. Given half the guests are from England, it might be fun to judge how accurate (or inaccurate!) they are! A nice place to grab beer in the evenings.
