FAQs

We acknowledge that our guests have to travel for our big day and we so appreciate you all for taking the time and effort to celebrate with us. If you have questions about the ceremony or Cabo, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We hope to see you there!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by August 15, 2022.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We hope that all of our guests will join us in staying at our wedding venue, Chileno Bay Resort. What could be better than all of our closest friends and family at the same place? It's absolutely stunning, we've negotiated a fantastic rate, and we want to spend as much time with you as possible!

Question

Is the resort all-inclusive?

Answer

No. Our wedding resort is not all-inclusive. We wanted our guests to have the opportunity to explore the amazing bars and restaurants in Cabo and not feel tied down to an all-inclusive plan. The resort does have several amazing dining options on site, but they are not included in the price of room.

Question

When should we plan to arrive in Mexico?

Answer

This is entirely up to you! Events kick off on Thursday, October 13th with our Welcome Fiesta Dinner. Our hotel room block rates are good from Monday the 10th through Wednesday the 16th. Feel free to come early and stay late!

Question

Do I need a passport to travel to Cabo?

Answer

Yes--Cabo is in Mexico therefore, it is considered international travel! You MUST bring a valid passport and the expiration date must be greater than 6+ months from your dates of travel. Be sure to check the expiration date and renew or apply for one if needed. Current processing times due to the backlog can take anywhere from 18 weeks (regular processing) to 12 weeks (expedited processing). Note: Infants and children also need a passport to travel.

Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We kindly encourage our guests to wear cocktail attire.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes, if you wedding invitation is addressed to you "and Guest" you are allowed a plus one.

Question

What time should I arrive at the Ceremony?

Answer

We will begin our ceremony promptly at 5:30 PM. We suggest that you arrive to the beach just below the pool deck by 5:15 PM to select your seat and enjoy the sounds of "El Viejito".

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during your wedding?

Answer

We invite you to be fully present with us during the ceremony. We will be having an unplugged wedding ceremony and kindly ask you to please keep your phones and cameras tucked away until after the ceremony and enjoy this intimate moment with us. We promise to share photos with you! After the ceremony feel free to go camera-crazy, and use our hashtag: #talleystietheknot

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please! The hotel should be able to accommodate to your special needs. Please kindly let us know with your RSVP.

Question

Whom should I call with questions?

Answer

Feel free to reach out to either of us with any additional questions you may have.
