Lachlan Boyd and Taliah LiaBraaten met at a getogether about four years ago and became great friends right from the start. They lived about two hours apart so they only saw eachother about once or twice a year after that. While Taliah was going to college close to home in Auburn, Lachlan soon moved to Seattle to go to the Maritime Academy in Ballard. Since they now lived a lot closer to eachother Lachlan reached out and soon enough they started hanging out,… a LOT. One evening at Taliahs house, Lachlan and Taliah were in the living room showing eachother some of their favorite songs and randomely Lachlan decided to ask Taliah to dance. (P.S. this was such a coincidence because Lachlan isn’t big on dancing but Taliah loves dancing and he never knew that until after). Then soon after they started dating, and the rest is history. A year later on Christmas in Yellowstone Montana, Lachlan and Taliah went on a walk in the beautiful snow and he got down on one knee and proposed. It’s easy to say that was probably the best gift she has ever received on Christmas day.
