Although Talia and Ryan started dating in June 2019, their love story begins about a year earlier where they met through a mutual friend at a holiday party. Talia remembers leaving that party impressed by Ryan’s charm and with a new secret crush. Within the next year, and still practically strangers, they started running into each other throughout town. Whether it was at a local restaurant, at an Amerks game, on St. Patrick’s Day, a wave, a smile, or short conversation was shared. It wasn’t until April 2019 where enough was enough and their paths crossed once again while out in downtown Rochester. The usual short conversation turned into chatting all night long. It was then that Talia was brave enough to ask for Ryan’s phone number confirming the start of a brand new love. They began seeing each other soon after that night and summer of 2019, they fell in love. Since then, the two have made countless memories while traveling, spending time with family and raising a rambunctious Australian Shepherd. Each day they look forward to coming home to cook dinner together, share stories, and spend quality time. In September of 2022, Ryan proposed to Talia at the Pittsford canal where they went for their first anniversary date.
