May 1st!
Yes, there will be a slight gap between the ceremony and cocktail hour. During this time we recommend you to grab food, or a drink, explore St. Paul, or check out the University of Minnesota or University of St Thomas (Talia and Ryan's alma maters). Check out the things to do tab for more ideas!
Due to many of our guests preferring AirBnB, we do not have a hotel block. We have provided some hotel recommendations under the travel section. For an AirBnB, the Groveland area in St. Paul is close to all wedding festivities. North loop and northeast Minneapolis are also great neighborhoods to stay with lots of good bars and restaurants.
Welcome Reception: Small parking lot across the street, and free street parking Ceremony: Parking lot behind the church and free street parking Reception: Parking lot, and possibility of overnight parking if needed
The welcome event is casual! Ceremony and reception are semi-formal / cocktail which means more formal than business casual, but not as formal as black tie. Usually lighter colors, and floral patterns. Men typically wear a coat or a tie
As of now, there is no transportation to and from the hotel to any of the venues. All are located near each other, and ride-share apps are readily available. You are also able to leave your car parked overnight at the reception venue if you prefer to take a ride-share home after the festivities.
Yes, at both! There will be light refreshments at both the welcome reception on Friday, and the cocktail hour before the reception on Saturday.
Yes, we are kid-friendly and look forward to celebrating with everyone! However, it is up to your discretion if you would like to bring them. Just make sure to reflect an accurate count in your RSVP!
