FAQs

If you have any questions other than what we've listed here, feel free to reach out!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask for you to RSVP by September 10! Click the RSVP tab, type in your first and last name, and you will be able to RSVP for yourself and your family/plus one if applicable.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want everyone to look and feel their best in semi-formal to formal attire! We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with a tie and women wear a midi, knee length, or floor length dress. Please no jeans, shorts, sneakers, or mini dresses. Please keep in mind that the ceremony will take place on grass, and that most of the venue property (other than the ceremony and reception spaces) is gravel. You may want to bring a warm layer since October evenings can get chilly!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We will be starting the ceremony at 5:00pm. In order to avoid any awkward additions to our processional, we ask that you arrive at Deer Flat Ranch by 4:30pm to park and make your way to the ceremony space to find seats!

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

The entrance to the venue may be easy to miss. Keep your eyes out for a gravel road that extends from the curved Midland Rd-Locust Ln intersection. There is a gravel parking lot that has plenty of space for all of our guests to park further up the gravel road. We are so thankful that Deer Flat Ranch provides complimentary golf carts to shuttle guests from the parking lot to the ceremony space, as the walk across gravel can be difficult in heels and dress shoes!

Question

Can I bring a plus one or my kids?

Answer

We ask that you view your RSVP and only attend with those included, as our venue has a strict capacity limit. We truly wish we could include everyone in our day!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes!! During the RSVP process you can note any dietary restrictions. Talia and Logan value making everyone feel safe to eat and enjoy the night stress-free! We will do our best to accommodate allergies!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have a combination host-cash bar at the reception. Your first drink is on us, but all additional drinks will be paid for individually. For our loved ones who will not be interested in a bar service, we will have self-serve water, lemonade, and soda available. Deer Flat Ranch has a strict alcohol policy that only allows alcohol to be brought onto the property by licensed vendors. Guests that bring alcohol on site will be asked to leave, and Logan and Talia will be fined by the venue. Please help us enjoy our day worry free! We've got you covered :)

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present. Our professional photographer will be capturing the day in all its glory, and we will be sure to share the photos with you afterwards on this website. Feel free to take as many photos as you would like before the ceremony begins and during the reception!
