Travel Note
For those interested in booking an Airbnb, the Mid City neighborhood will be most convenient to our wedding activities (see Map). It's also where we first moved in together, where our favorite outdoor spaces are (City Park + Bayou St. John), where we first met Callie, etc. etc. That said, there are countless charming and enchanting crannies and nooks in New Orleans. A few of our other favorite neighborhoods include: The Marigny, Bywater, French Quarter and Garden District (see Map). Please feel free to reach out to Christian or Talia for recommendations about specific locations!
Hotel
Price: $225 / night plus $25 per night Destination Fee Booking Deadline: February 20, 2024 Room Count: 20 We will always love the Ace as it's the home of Josephine Estelle, the restaurant where Christian worked while we were dating. We have consumed far too much bucatini and sparkling rose in this establishment! Featuring 3 separate bars, its own music venue, restaurant, coffeeshop, and rooftop pool, this is definitely a fun place to stay (you might come home to a live band or DJ!)
Hotel
Price: $239 / night Booking Deadline: March 5, 2024 Room Count: 10 Rooms Located on Canal Street (NOLA's main thoroughfare), the Sheraton is a classic destination for visitors. Steps from Bourbon & Royal Streets, this is a great place if you're looking for a more traditional hotel that's right in the NOLA action.
Hotel
Price: $179/night Booking Deadline: February 7, 2024 Room Count: 10 Rooms This will be a more basic hotel experience but with a fabulous location - Royal Street is probably our favorite street in the French Quarter. Filled with galleries and antique shops, it's a slightly more mature cousin to the rascally Bourbon Street. Street performers out the window, easy walking to Cafe du Monde, the classic French Quarter experience. Right around the corner from the Sheraton.
