There are beautiful views from this pier, along with some restaurants, a winery (Deep Sea), and a small aquarium. The perfect place to catch the sunset :)
The 'Funk Zone' is a great little area near the ocean that is full of wine tasting rooms, a few breweries, shops, and some restaurants. The Urban Wine Trail (attached website) has many wineries listed if you are feeling like a wine tasting day! Some amazing restaurants in this area include Loquita, The Lark, The Project, Lucky Penny, Finney's, and The Nook (located in Lama Dogs).
The harbor is a beautiful place to walk around with a view of the ocean and so many boats. You can walk out along the break water, go to the Maritime Museum, or eat lunch at Brophy Bros. Seafood Restaurant which overlooks the harbor.
We love to go to these Botanic Gardens. You can stroll along the trail and see numerous native California plants, along with views of Santa Barbara and the mountains!
State Street is the main street of Santa Barbara that starts at the Santa Barbara Wharf and goes inland. It is full of shops, many restaurants, and two McConnells Ice Cream Shops :) Perfect if you are looking for somewhere to go for a walk and explore!
This is a wonderful science museum, especially if you have little ones with you for your visit!
If you are wanting to explore the coast, renting a bike is a great way to get around! There is a beautiful bike path along the ocean. The attached website is one option for bike rentals :)
This historic mission was established over 200 years ago. They offer tours of the inside, or if you prefer to enjoy the mission from the outside, the lawn/rose garden is a perfect place for a picnic :)
