Aviv and I met while working for the same company. If you ask who made the first move you'd hear different stories. He said I began by flirtily asking if he wants to go to the kitchen to grab some coffee. I say he did, when he mentioned he saw me on Tinder (and swiped right). One thing for sure is that our entire company wanted us together. It only took 2 months of "will they / won't they" for us to have our first date: a 6 hour walk through Tel Aviv that included eating a cup of frozen yogurt on a bench (in February) and almost getting our bag stolen while sitting on the beach (that's a story for another time).
After finishing with some (unromantic, but official) tasks in which we had to legally define our relationship, we decided to 'celebrate' by recreating our first date (i.e. go for a walk around the city). As we were walking around, popping into random alleys, trying to find the perfect proposal spot; we ended up on the beach to look at the full moon. Sitting on the rocks, listening to the waves crash and the bright light set the perfect scene for Aviv to drop on one knee and ask me me to marry him. With a huge smile on my face, I screamed "Are you joking with me?" I was just so shocked and excited - not to mention blind from the sparkles bouncing off the beautiful ring from the moonlight (of course I said yes a second later).
