What is the easiest way to get to and from the Matthaei Botanical Gardens?
Answer
The easiest way would be to drive or Uber/Lyft there. There will be free parking for all wedding guests who drive--you'll just report your space number to the staff at the visitor service desk when you arrive to have your parking registered.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The wedding ceremony will be indoors in the botanical garden, and the reception will also be indoors in the adjoining auditorium. Weather permitting, guests are welcome to venture outdoors during the reception/after dinner and browse the beautiful outdoor gardens (we have the whole place to ourselves)!

What is the dress code for your wedding?
Answer
There is no dress code! Wear anything that makes you feel pretty :) (Note that it can get a bit humid inside the botanical garden ceremony space, so please plan accordingly.)

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Answer
Please no photos during the ceremony. (We hired a fabulous professional photographer whom we love. You will too. We will share all photos after the wedding.) Photos are encouraged before and after the ceremony!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?
Answer
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres during the reception, followed by a dinner buffet with a selection of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes.

Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer
Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those explicitly named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand our decision.
