Our story begins in the library at Berkeley College. We started as friends, part of a close-knit group. One day, we decided to plan a group outing to the movies. When the day arrived, the entire group canceled at the last minute. Takyra was going to call her dad to pick her up, but Kevin convinced her to stay. Takyra didn’t realize it at the time, but it turns out everyone had planned it that way from the beginning, leaving her out of the loop. Not long after, we started talking more, which eventually led to us dating. We are truly grateful that it all happened the way he envisioned because it has brought endless love.
