Lauren and Bill met at the wedding of their two friends, Nini Perone and Matthew Harnois. Nini introduced them just before dinner. In typical fashion, Lauren forgot Bill's name and then had to awkwardly explain that she did not work in neurology but in.. um... the "downstairs" department. (Bill still doesn't like hearing about her days at work) Nini had graciously given Lauren a plus one, but nobody was available (Thanks Gabe and Catherine). Bill then spent the entire dinner at Lauren's table in her empty plus one seat. They spent the night dancing. Bill still doesn't believe her, but Lauren swears she knew that night that she would marry Bill.

Trust us, planning a wedding during a pandemic can be tricky. You’re faced with a lot of tough choices, one of which is how to navigate the inviting of guests who may or not be vaccinated for COVID-19. We’ve stressed about this for months now, and have come to the decision that, in order to ensure our wedding is as safe as possible, all guests must be fully vaccinated. We understand that this may mean that we can’t celebrate our big day with people we hold dearest. We’re deeply saddened by that.
