Our Story

Living Faith Unexpected Blessings

I wasn’t expecting a thing when I joined that retreat last minute. My mom and his, having known each other, started talking about us—our values, our goals—and joked about us finding a love where we both give fully and receive fully. Something clicked, and I sent the first message. For six weeks, we connected deeply—talking about our blended families, our shared dreams, and the lives we wanted to build. When he finally picked me up after church, it felt natural. We laughed at Dave & Buster’s, shared a movie, and two days later, we were a couple. Over a year and a half, we made long distance work—taking trips, exploring museums, and praying together daily. God first is what grounds us. And after all that, he asked the big question. You already know my answer—that’s why I’m telling you this now. In the end, it’s about both of us giving fully.
