It’s Happening!

We were both at a 1st birthday party for a family friend/little cousin. I (Takhaja) saw Deandre playing with his son and i just observed. The party went on, I must’ve blinked and they disappeared. So, I inquired with Deandre’s cousin who is also my friend (shout out to Jade) and asked about him. A whole month later Jade texts me and asks if she can give him my number, she had showed him pictures of me and he was interested. He called me the very next day, and we haven’t hung up the phone since.

The day of our baby shower for Miss Rhythm Rae, he asked me to be his wife. He gifted me with a photo pop out box, every time I took a top off photos of us flipped out with love notes. He then had my sister read this beautiful poem composed by my good friend and creative writing genius Brittany. The crocodile tears are now flowing and he dropped down to one knee, of course I said YES!
