We’re getting married!!❤️

We have actually known each other for many years and are from the same city of Delray Beach. Our paths initially crossed 20 years ago in 2005 at Delray Medical Center while we both still lived in Florida and I was working as a new nurse and he as an EMT. We both moved away in 2006 to opposite sides of the country- Atlanta and California. But as fate would have it, we began a late night conversation on Facebook on Feb 19, 2022 and we have never not spoken since that night. We cultivated a really good friendship communicating across the country with long long long conversations. I had never been to California but somehow ended up traveling there for work twice in a two month timeframe, and I was within an hour drive of him both times. Whenever we would travel back home to Florida somehow the dates would align without us even planning. And it just so happened that Kevin had purchased a house in GA shortly before we began communicating, although he had no immediate plans of moving to Georgia. But being the catch that I am (lol) he moved to Georgia January 2023. SHE SAID: Before we began communicating I began praying for my husband with specific requests and preparing to be a wife. One of those requests was that my husband would be someone that I was not a stranger to (like someone my auntie, cousin, friend or someone could vouch for- just not a random invisible life kinda person). Well let me tell y'all something GOD heard me and everyone including my aunties and cousins ended up knowing Kevin and all gave him the stamp of approval with nothing but great things to say about him!! My heart SMILED! HE SAID: I've always known I wanted to be married but hadn't found that woman. I needed someone down to earth, funny yet could handle her own when or if I wasn't around. Takera was a pleasant surprise plus she loved sports and could cook. She is someone who believes in God not just with words but with actions. When she stopped in the moment and prayed for my mom when I told her she had cancer that solidified that she was the one. GAME OVER! We are what each other prayed for- What we wanted and what we needed. From pretty early on Kevin would say “I’m not going anywhere” and I believe him! He's calm and the voice of reasoning and balanced my live life out loud personality! So as we continue the journey to forever we can't wait to share our special day with you!
