We met on an online dating app called Bumble. I was swiping through just for fun and accidentally swiped on Jarret's profile without seeing a picture of him. We matched and started texting each other. After texting each other on the app, I gave Jarret my number, but he ghosted me for a little lol. One day he texted me, and we connected back with each other; after two weeks decided to meet up after I got out of school. We met up, and Jarret tried to teach me how to play pool on our phones, but I gave up quickly (That was his way of getting in with me and flirting). We spent the rest of the day talking and laughing; it was an instant connection. When it was time to leave, he immediately asked me what I was doing after school the next day, and I told him I had no plans. Jarret suggested we hang out again tomorrow, and I agreed ( I answered too quickly but tried to brush it off like it was whatever). Even since that day in March 2020, we have been two peas in a pod, never dated or talked to anyone else after we met. Now, a little over three years later, we will be able to call each other Husband and Wife. P.S. (Jarret) The girl didn't know my name on our first two dates. She didn't have my name saved in her phone and kept trying to figure it out without asking. I should have known something was up when I kept calling her Tajah, but she never called me Jarret (just sad).
