Sometimes love doesn’t arrive quietly — sometimes it shows up in the middle of a hurricane. We met in Jamaica in 2024 during Hurricane Beryl, and yes… it was as dramatic as it sounds. The storm shut everything down, the community was locked in, and we literally couldn’t leave the house. No escape routes. No plans. No distractions. Just the two of us, a storm outside, and a whole lot of time together. What could’ve been chaos turned into connection. Somewhere between the power outages, the uncertainty, the long conversations, and the shared laughter, something real started to grow. We weren’t just surviving a hurricane — we were building a bond. And somehow, in the middle of that storm, we found calm in each other. We’ve been inseparable ever since. We’re opposites in the best way — a Libra and a Scorpio — balance and intensity, peace and passion, calm and fire. We travel together, binge-watch shows together, laugh constantly, and genuinely enjoy just being in each other’s space. Whether we’re exploring new places or just spending a quiet night together, it always feels like home when we’re together. And after just 50 days, he proposed — because when you know, you know. What started in a hurricane turned into a love story neither of us could’ve planned, but one we’re endlessly grateful for.
