It’s finally happening!

After deciding to have a maternity photoshoot in San Diego, we thought it would be a great idea to also include our immediate family in the pictures to celebrate our spontaneous twin pregnancy and our little Kaius becoming a big brother. A maternity shoot and family pictures at the same time. Two birds. One stone. I chose our outfits and directed family members to dress accordingly. JayDee suggested Balboa Park as the setting for the pictures to take place. In front of the Botanical Garden and Lily Pond. A magical scene for a magical moment. The photographer began to gather the family for pictures in a rush to beat the rain clouds that were beginning to roll in. As family pictures continued, it was time for JayDee and I to take pictures on our own. A glance in to each others eyes, and kiss on the belly. As JayDee kneeled down on one knee to kiss my belly, the photographer directed me to turn around towards the camera. I did. When I turned back around JayDee was still on one knee. The moment I waited for for so long was finally happening, He said to me "Since I'm down here, will you marry me?" In disbelief I nervously laughed and laughed and laughed some more. After a few moments I gathered myself and said "YES!". I said yes to the love of my life for the rest of our lives. #LusterEverAfter
