Small Town to In Love

Small town friends unseen for 20 years fell in love

We are from a small town where everybody knows everybody! We lived practically around the corner from one another. The father of the bride even coached the groom in Babe Ruth baseball! On a night that the bride would usually go to have Thursday night drinks with her friends, in walks the groom. According to her friends, he smelled wonderful. She couldn't smell him right away due to the horrible cold she was experiencing. He was rather smooth walking into that bar though. She was out of normal character and not put together at all! We're talking baseball cap and no makeup! Anyway, the bride brushed off the groom like oh that's just Terence. She didn't say that she had recently been stalking his Facebook page and was captivated by his smile (and still is). Anyway, the cold caused Taiesha to go to the restroom and blow her nose. This meant walking past his table. She had to speak. So, they spoke and had a warm hug like old friends. He did smell good!!!!! The night progressed with no more exchanges between them. Taiesha later got home and decided to message him on Facebook. She said it was nice to see him and they should keep in touch. Terence waited a whole 24 hours before he ever responded. The two started texting. Taiesha had another suitor, but she liked Terence. One morning on the way to work she prayed to God that He would give her a sign of what she should do. She didn't want to keep talking with both of them. As soon as she said Amen, her phone dinged with a text message that said, "good morning, beautiful". God delivers! It was Terence. Taiesha had prayed that God would bless her with a good man. Terence prayed for a good woman. Again, God delivers! We had our first date a couple of weeks later. We sat and talked at a bar until 4 in the morning. I (Taiesha) fell in love around 2 am and knew that Terence had to be in my life forever. Terence says he knew the night we first saw each other at the bar. Every day and every moment has not been a romance novel. Anything worth having requires work including relationships. We support one another. We love each other out loud! We are proud of one another! The proposal took place in front of our closest loved ones! It was our first blended family Thanksgiving and one that will always be remembered! We are so in love, and we can't wait to share this love with each of you! We look forward to sharing this day and hope that our love causes everyone in attendance to want to fall in love or fall deeper in love! See you 5/3/25! We are #RushingtoRussell!
