After talking on Hinge for a couple of months, we had our first date in Chicago. It was an all-day event. Evan planned a full day, including a walk around the neighborhood park, Millennium Park to see the Bean, the Riverwalk, and the Art Institute. It was the perfect day and the perfect start to our love story.

While in Rome on my post-bar exam trip, Evan and I, along with our friends, set out for some site seeing. Evan led us to a beautiful little park that had the perfect view of the Coliseum just as the sun was setting. After taking a few pictures, Evan turned to grab a little box from our friend’s backpack. I thought Evan was joking until he opened the box and asked "You wanna marry me?" I squeaked out a “yes” and the small crowd at the park clapped for our special moment. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Chicago!
