Our journey started way back in our High School days. We found love early, but let it fade away. As we grew older, we realized what that love should have and has grown to be. After a few years apart, our love was rekindled at a mutual friend's wedding. We sat and talked at the same table, reminiscing on earlier times in life. After the wedding was over, we spent hours driving around, talking about how we could move on with our lives with both of us being apart of it. We have been together ever since.

After a month of planning, Ryan and Tahlor's mom, Amy, put together a plan to have the proposal at Norris Lake in Tennessee. Tahlor had no idea that Ryan was going to be there to surprise her and propose to her. The kicker is, Tahlor was told she was going to a nice dinner, and needed to wear a dress on the way down to Tennessee. Instead, Tahlor being Tahlor, she put on her favorite t-shirt and athletic shorts to be comfortable on the way down. Amy frantically tried to to get Tahlor to put on her dress in the car, but was continually told that "It will be fine". The dress was finally put on, as Amy and Tahlor met up with Cousin Kim who had been "taking pictures" of the old rice mill by the dam. To Tahlor's surprise, Ryan walked out from behind the mill across the old rustic bridge and got on one knee. Everyone was thrilled when the answer was "Mhmmmm!"
