August 22, 2019 Ronells family was at a visitation at my family’s funeral home. Ronells mom wanted him to meet my nana, I was just sitting on the couch not paying attention until my sister nudge me asking if I thought he was cute. I shrugged my shoulders and said yeah kinda. The more I kept seeing him that evening the more I started to like him. So towards the end of the night we’re all sitting outside getting ready to leave and I remembered my nana knew his mom so I asked her to go to his mom and ask how old is her son. Knowing Ronell was standing not too far from his mom so I knew he would hear her ask that and think I’m interested in him. Because I was too afraid to go up to him myself. So my nana goes up to his mom and does NOT say what I told her to say. She says my granddaughter right over is a very beautiful young lady, smart, she has a great job and she’s interested in your son! So Ronell and his cousins were standing right there and his cousin nudges Ronell and says alright man what are you going to do? Her grandmother gave you the go ahead. So Ronell walks over to me and ask if I was seeing anyone and then we exchanged phone numbers. Ronell tried to take me out on a date the very next day but I told him no not yet. (Now I had to play hard to get lol) I made him wait for about a month, just for us to get to know each other a little more. And late September we went on our first date and we’ve been together since.
