FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress, with plenty of colour! We'll be on grass, gravel and spending lots of time outside so ladies (and gents, if you're so inclined), best to avoid stilettos & pack some comfy footwear for the dance floor

Question

What is the order of service?

Answer

We're still finalising all our timings, but please aim to arrive at Worrowing Estate by 1:30pm for our 2pm ceremony. Cocktails, canapes and our evening reception is all taking place on the estate, so there's no need to travel. Carriages at 10:30pm

Question

How do you see the weekend playing out? What's on around the wedding itself?

Answer

We'd love to spend as much time with you all as possible, so are planning on making a long weekend of our trip to Jervis Bay. We've booked the Flaming Galah brewery in Huskisson from 5pm on Friday 26 February, and we'd love for you to come along for some casual dinner and drinks. On Sunday, we'll be making our way to Huskisson for a few days on the beach, and would love you all to join us...

Question

What about travel to the wedding?

Answer

We're already hoping you're exploring accommodation options in and around Huskisson for our wedding weekend. For those driving, there's plenty of parking at the venue, and we're planning a coach for those staying nearby. For the coach, we'll do a pickup in Huskisson at 1pm, Vincentia at 1:15 and arrival at Worrowing by 1:30pm. The same coach will do the same drop-offs at the end of the night. Please let us know if you'll be jumping on the coach (hard recommend), as it'll be tricky to make last minute changes/bookings for updated numbers

Question

What's the food & drink situation, especially if I have dietary requirements?

Answer

We'll be serving food banquet-style, with vegetarian options available. If you have specific dietaries, please include those on your RSVP and we'll make sure you're looked after

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Honestly, as soon as possible, especially if you're coming from overseas! Our hard cut off is October 27th 2026, but would love for you to let us know before then

Question

Are plus ones / kids allowed?

Answer

We really hope our occasion will be one where you can leave everything at the door and enjoy yourself. So you're all free to have as much fun as possible, we're requesting that you leave the kids at home for our wedding. Unfortunately our numbers are locked in, so unless you're named on the invite, we won't be able to accommodate any additional plus ones.

Question

Where can we stay?

Answer

We've put a selection of hotels near the venue on the travel section of our website - please feel free to book in one of the many spots nearby in Huskisson or Vincentia. There's plenty to choose from, ranging from hotels to Airbnbs via holiday parks depending on your taste! We recommend booking quickly as price & demand jumps up going into the Australian summer.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We're hoping that much of the day including the ceremony will take place outside, but our reception venue is covered for the evening. Please dress and plan appropriately for our tropical late summer season!

Question

We're flying in from overseas, anything you recommend to make our trip easy?

Answer

Make the most of your time in Australia! To help you make the best of the wedding weekend, we'd recommend arriving the week before to get settled in and shake the jet lag, and then join us in Huskisson for a few days after the wedding to catch up properly

Question

Are you having a registry, or what about gifts?

Answer

Honestly, just having you with us is more than gift enough! We'll have a card box for those who would like to send us well-wishes

Question

Is there anything I should bring as a guest?

Answer

Vibes. Colour. Life. Maybe sunscreen, or an umbrella (depending on the weather!) as well as some comfy footwear
