Taggart Wedding 12∙17∙23

We met on an online dating app called Hinge, "the dating app that is meant to be deleted." And it was very quickly established that we had similar values and beliefs. So I (Jade) asked Victoria if she would like to go to a Mizzou game with me. She was eager, and our first date was set, September 18th, 2021.

Fast forward to a little over a year after that first date... Jade and I (Victoria) had just celebrated Thanksgiving and my dad's birthday with my family on 11.24.2022. The next day, I was looking forward to "family pictures" we had planned. I had a slight suspicion about the day, but everyone from Jade to the photographer (Lana, Art and Soul Photography) had an ironclad story about family photos. Little did I know that Jade had arranged the day off with my manager, had the perfect ring designed and ordered months in advance, and had been scoping out the perfect place for our ENGAGEMENT for weeks. The engagement was perfect. When it was mine and Jade's turn for our photos, I felt one of his legs shaking tremendously. In that moment I knew, and he got down on one knee. I was so excited that I don't think I even said yes at first. I was just in awe of the moment, the ring, and sweet Jade. It was perfect. It was an obvious yes, and now we are so excited to celebrate the start of our married life together with you! See you in Jefferson City, MO!
