Is there a dress code?

Attire is Black-Tie.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome for the ceremony, but the reception is limited to adults only with a few exceptions for our immediate family. If you have a child under 2 that you would prefer to bring with you, please let us know and we will make accommodations. If you are coming from out of town and bringing your children with you, we'd love to help you find childcare - we know some great babysitters in Indianapolis!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

If you'd like to stay at a hotel, we recommend the Hyatt Regency, which is centrally located less than 2 miles from the ceremony and 1 mile from the reception and tends to have affordable rates (would also highly recommend checking out The Eagle's Nest restaurant/bar on it's top floor for views of Indy!). We also recommend looking into the many AirBnB options that Indianapolis has to offer.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

For the reception, there are two parking lots available to guests: one directly behind the church (16th & Delaware) and another across from the Foundry coffee shop (16th & Alabama), as well as plenty of free street parking. For the reception, there is a designated free parking lot located behind the Scottish Rite Cathedral.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide transportation. If you do not have access to a car, we recommend Uber or Lyft - the reception venue is just 1 mile from the ceremony.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

After our rehearsal dinner on February 15, we plan to have informal welcome drinks at a cocktail bar called Sundry & Vice. Check out the Schedule page for more details.
