The easiest way to get to Vail or Beaver Creek is to fly into Denver International Airport. From there, it is a two hour drive to Vail or Beaver Creek. You can also fly into Eagle County Regional Airport, which is only a 30 minute drive, but there tend to be far fewer flights and they tend to be more expensive.

Travel Note
Vail is located 8,000 feet above sea level. As you get higher and higher, the air gets thinner and less oxygen is available. It is drier and the UV rays are stronger. Sunscreen! You may want to take it easy the first day or two. If you are like us, you'll want to get out and get into those beautiful mountains as soon as possible. We hope you do! Just take it a little easy a give yourself some time to adjust to the altitude. Key Tips: -Stay hydrated. Drink more water than you think you need. Plus there is nothing better than the fresh mountain water! -Be aware of the effects of alcohol. Alcohol can affect altitude sickness and your drinks may seem stronger.
