Welcome to our Hallowedding

Just kidding! But it feels like its been that long. We met in the year 1999. A mutual friend set us up on a not so blind date. It wasn't so blind because we had met each other a few months before. We started talking online for a few weeks and then finally went on our first date.

Between 1999 and 2020 we've had our ups and our downs. We've raised his children, coached traveling soccer teams, lead Girl Scouts, started new careers, and so much more. We've stuck together through it all.

We got engaged on July 20, 2020. This day was supposed to be a photo shoot with some horses so I could show my class what I had been doing during the summer amidst a global pandemic. Phill had recruited the help of Tori, who helped set up our friend's barn with beautiful lights and flowers, you know for the photoshoot. Phill was hiding at the end of the barn and after I walked in and said hello to all the horses, Phill stepped out into view. I was so confused, he was supposed to be at work. But it was the best surprise. He got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. I said yes, but only after calling Phill and Tori liars. hehe

It all comes down to this. We will be celebrating our marriage with family and friends this Halloween. We are going to have a blast eating and dancing the night away.
