Question

Is there a shuttle from and to the wedding venue?

Answer

Unfortunately there is no shuttle. We recommend uber or lyft to get to and from the wedding venue. For those of you who choose to drive there is plenty of parking at Maderas.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Remember you will be on the pictures so use your judgement on what colors would blend in better with others.

What hotels do we recommend?

Answer

Couple of hotels in Rancho Bernardo - Radisson, Rancho Bernardo Inn. Otherwise "the fun to stay at" areas would be Del Mar and La Jolla. "Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines" is a beautiful place to stay if you don't mind the drive (it is a 25-30 min). Otherwise there are plenty of beautiful places in San Diego! Have fun!

How to RSVP and choose a meal?

Answer

Please RSVP by 10/01/2019. Few of you received a paper RSVP card that can be mailed back to us (there is an extra envelope with a post stamp on it to use). Please mark entree(s) of your choice. If multiple people attending per household please put each person's initials next to the entree. You can also RSVP on our website. Those who RSVP online please go to RSVP tab on our website. Once "attend" is selected you can choose a meal for each guest. This is where you can also let us know about your diet restrictions. All entrees are delicious!

Places to visit in San Diego

Answer

Due to its weather and comfortable temperature November is a perfect month to visit Safari Park in Escondido. If you are into golfing our venue (Maderas) is a perfect place for it. Our new and favorite place is Balboa park. Go see the World's largest pipe organ there!

Ceremony - outdoors. Reception - indoors.

It should be specified on your invitation whether you can bring a plus one. Your kids are invited :)

Of course! It should be listed among all meal choices on RSVP tab on our website.

How to contribute to House Fund?

Answer

It should be fairly easy. You just need a credit or debit card. There is a fee that applies to the amount when we cash it so old-fashioned check or cash will be better option.
