Our ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 p.m. We kindly ask that you arrive between 3:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. This allows plenty of time to park, sign our guest book, enjoy a cocktail, and settle into your seat.
Yes! We'd love for you to dress up and celebrate with us throughout the weekend. The Wedding calls for Spring Formal attire, while our Welcome party calls for Cocktail attire. Yes! We're partnering with a local Southern trolley company to provide complimentary transportation from the hotels to our venue. Since the trolley service is coordinated with our hotel block, we recommend booking at one of our designated hotels for the most convenient experience. If you're staying elsewhere, you're welcome to arrange your own transportation to the trolley pickup location.
Yes, there is ample parking at The Mackey House! If you decide to drive a personal vehicle, please arrange to have a toxin-free driver to ensure you get home safely or you may leave your personal vehicle at The Mackey House overnight and use our provided transportation. If leaving your vehicle overnight please ensure it is picked up from the venue NO LATER THAN 10 am to ensure they have plenty of time to set up for the next days event.
Yes, as the sun will be shining, both the ceremony and reception will be outside. We are expecting the temperature at its highest to be 80 degrees and the lowest to be around 70 degrees. If the weather isn't perfect, don't worry — our venue has a variety of options to ensure the celebration continues seamlessly!
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests, we can only accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation.
