We’re getting married!

Who would have thought “you’re cute” would have turned into yes I’ll marry you! Almost 5 years ago Taelour didn’t even have her drivers licenses yet and Blake worrying about what he drove to her house now means we now get to plan our big day. So young and still young now, lots of love and support, tears and laughter, faithfulness and grace. December 10, 2023…. The day Taelour said yes!! Just when I thought it was normal couple pictures it turned into a proposal. The previous night I had a dream Blake proposed but I said no because I didn’t like the ring…. I told Blake that morning about my dream and in his head he was trying to figure out how I may have found out he was going to propose. For some reason having that dream and knowing we were going to take pictures made it seem real life, my stomach was turning all morning to the point I could barely eat breakfast because that’s all she could think about. Fast forward we get to the park we were taking pictures and it took Blake what felt an extra long time to get out of the truck but I told myself I was being dramatic and overthinking comes to find out he was putting the ring in his jacket pocket. We start taking pictures as normal so at that point I said to myself it’s not happening but not even 2 minutes later our photographer asks to take pictures of just me and all the thoughts came running back. She takes a couple pictures then tells me I can go stand back next to Blake but as I turn and realize he’s not at eye level with me and actually on one knee all the emotions hit at once. Even though I had my thoughts all morning I was still shock that it really was real life, I was at loss of words and just couldn’t believe it. It wasn’t long after the word fiancé became our favorite word.🩵
