Are children allowed?

We are keeping the wedding adults-only to ensure everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.

Where is the ceremony/ reception?

Answer

The ceremony will be held on our property, it will be outdoors. The cocktail hour/ reception will be located only 4 miles away at Eighty Acres Kitchen and Bar.

What time to arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony time on the invitation, to allow time to park and get to your seat.

What’s the best route to get to the reception from our ceremony?

Answer

Turn left out of Lasher Ct, you will then be on Saltsburg Road, follow that road until you reach a T, turn right to get onto Rt. 286 W (Golden Mile Highway), 3 miles down that road turn onto New Texas Rd and it will be there on your right.

What if it rains?

Answer

If it rains, we still plan to get married in the same outdoor spot. We purchased enough clear umbrellas for everyone to have one, but if couples want to share that works as well! Depending on the severity, it's up to your discretion on wearing a rain jacket. Let it be noted that we will be in a grassy area. So especially ladies, you probably will want to wear walkable shoes for the ceremony, (heels that won’t sink) then switch to your actual dressy shoes before the reception. Also, if you don’t feel comfortable standing in the rain we will take no offense if you just want to see us/ celebrate us at the reception!

Is there a hotel block/ shuttle?

Answer

We are not providing a hotel block/ shuttle. So keep that in mind while enjoying the open bar. If you need a hotel I would recommend the Holiday Inn located in Delmont, Uber services are available in our area. There are also Airbnbs in the area as well.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

This will be an unplugged ceremony, we ask you please refrain from taking pictures on your cell phone and don’t forget to silence it please!

Where do I park?

Answer

There will be signs for a designated parking area when you pull into our driveway, we will make sure it's easy to follow. For the reception the restaurant has a parking lot.

What time does it wrap up?

Answer

We have the venue asks that we start winding down around 1030. Also, we do not plan to have an after party anywhere, so just be safe on your way home!

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

What means the most to us is your presence at our wedding. That being said, if you would like to give us a gift we would greatly appreciate a monetary contribution towards our future plans, or we are also registered at Crate & Barrel.
