Where is the venue located? Is it indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Savoy Ballroom, which is located on Historic C-Street in Springfield, Missouri. The venue has an indoor and outdoor area that will be available the entire time (weather permitting) for everyone to enjoy, including seating and beautiful lighting.

Are children allowed?

Answer

You are free to bring your child(ren); however, we encourage you to use this as a parents' night out! If you are bringing a child, please update your RSVP to reflect this, and please know the venue's policy: "Children must be supervised at all times. No running, horseplay, climbing, pulling grass, picking flowers, or games allowed in the courtyard or ballroom. No unattended minors in the courtyard." Please note that there will be music that may not be kid-appropriate.

What is garden party attire?

Answer

Garden party or dressy casual, includes pastel colors, floral prints, sun dresses, etc. If you need a little inspiration, we have created an interest board to help you! https://pin.it/3lVEmoMh2 *We encourage you to take our wedding as an opportunity to get dressed up! Please, no jeans or black (besides pants)*

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I am in town for your wedding?

Answer

Yes! Please visit the ‘Things to Do’ tab on our website, where we’ve compiled all of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area before or after the wedding.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! We have arranged to provide the first round through drink tickets. After that, it will turn into a cash bar serving beer ($4-6), wine ($7), and cocktails ($5-9).

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes! We have worked hard to find vendors that are friendly to special dietary needs. Please be sure to note any required specifications when RSVPing so we can accommodate you! Everyone deserves to enjoy wedding cake ;)

Where do I park?

Answer

Guests can park free in four public lots within one block of the venue. Commercial St. and side streets are also options, with no time limit or charge on the weekends. You can visit the 'Accommodations and Parking' tab for more information.
