Flight
This is the closest airport to Banff and has many international flights to choose from. Approximately 1.5 hours driving to Banff via the Trans-Canada HWY/AB-1 W. A rental car is highly recommended due to limited ride sharing services outside of the Calgary Metro Area.

There is an option to take the Banff Airporter (Shuttle) between the Calgary airport, Canmore, and Banff. This can be booked on their website ahead of time. From there, taxi services can be utilized within Banff and Canmore.

Autumn in Banff is gorgeous! October is Amanda's favorite month of the year. We hope that the leaves will be changing, but with this comes cooler temps. The temperature can range from 50-60F during the day and 30F at night.
